Mario Nogouz

• Has been coaching for 30 years and has been with HUGS for 6 years.

• Head Coach/Director of the HUGS Optional Team Program.

• Bachelors Degree in Physical Education.

• Husband and father of two boys–loves spending his spare time with them.

• Enjoys listening to Opera music.

Shannon Cortilet 

• Coach at HUGS for 5 years 

• Has trained at HUGS since age 6

• Coaches Recreational Classes, Xcel Program, and Pre Team 

• Favorite Event is Floor

• In her spare time she enjoys doing gymnastics & shopping 

Brittany Tanski 

• Has been coaching gymnastics for the past 2 years

• Coaches Recreational Classes, Preschool, Kinder Gym, Tumbling, and Team

• Was a gymnast for 14 years finish as a Level 10 gymnasts, was a state champ & national qualifier 

• Her favorite event is bars

• In her spare time she enjoys doing gymnastics

Claire Filpi 

• Has been coaching gymnastics for 3 years

• Has been part of the HUGS Staff since 2014

• Coaches Recreational Classes and Tumbling 

• Was a Power Tumbling and Trampoline athlete for 7 years 

• Her favorite event is Floor

• In her free time she stay very busy as the Sports Editor for her school yearbook and news paper while also being a nanny and photographer
